Some of my most favorite sessions are maternity and newborn photos. There's something about the anticipation and excitement of a maternity session.  Knowing that there is the longing and expectation for new life on the horizon. The realization of change that will be sure to never leave you the same as you become a mother to a new little one.  For newborn photos, it's the absolute joy and glow of a new mom and dad as they adore and obsess over their new child. It's the detail shots. The baby acne, the lips, the tiny toes, the fluffs of newborn hair.  As a mom of two, I know how fast this time passes. It's so fleeting, and that is why it's so important to me to capture those moments. To freeze them in time so that you can look back on them for years to come. I remember when we had our son, Wade. He was our first. They stamped his footprint on the back of my husband's hand, and every now and then we just look at the back of our hands and wonder how that four year-old's foot ever fit there, and how it already seems like a lifetime ago. If you are a new parent, or, frankly, a fifth time parent, don't miss the opportunity to hang onto these moments forever.
